The sheet preforming machine, ER is developed as an under-extruder to cool the material discharged from Kneader mixer or Banbury as quickly as possible and preform into sheets. That is, it can replace the existing under mixing mill.
Furthermore, since the extrusion pressure is designed at a low level, fluctuation of extrusion output due to tempreratrue are small. Besides, a large discharge output is obtained while using a motor of low horsepower.
In structure, it consists of tapered biaxial screws (conical) and roller die fitted at their end. The charged material is bit by the tapered biaxial screws, and are cooled and simultaneously extruded from the head. Thereafter, the material is rolled and preformed into sheet by the roller die located just after the head.
